Congratulations to Alyssa

The Faculty of Medicine Summer Student Research Program (FoM SSRP) provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to explore their interest in health research by undertaking a summer project supervised by a Faculty of Medicine researcher. Alyssa is working with the Van Raamsdonk lab to study the expression of cell adhesion molecules in melanoma.

Here is an image Alyssa took of JUP expression (green) in mouse epidermis. JUP is normally localized to the cell membranes.

Thank you to the UBC Faculty of medicine for your support!
